What You’ll Do

Lead with Excellence: Oversee and manage nursing care, ensuring top-tier patient outcomes and maintaining a safe, supportive care environment.

Be a Key Decision Maker: Take charge of operations in the absence of the Administrator, Director of Nursing, or agency manager.

Drive Quality and Safety: Uphold compliance with RHS policies and national safety goals while investigating incidents, addressing nursing errors, and resolving complaints effectively.

Empower and Educate: Train, mentor, and develop staff to align with the latest policies, procedures, and best practices.

Collaborate and Communicate: Build strong relationships across a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.

Hands-On Impact: Perform supervisory visits, assist in nursing care planning, and deliver care when needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) – Virginia Department of Health Professions

You will need to be organized, detail-oriented, and possess effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
