Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents.

  • Remind clients to take prescribed medication.

  • Help with mobility.

  • Plan and prepare meals.

  • Assist clients with errands including outings, grocery shopping, etc.

  • Perform light housekeeping duties.

  • Report any changes in condition/ Advocate for clients.

  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

  • Encourage activities/exercises that are essential for daily living.

  • Provide safety supervision.

  • Transportation 

     

Qualifications

  • 18 or older

  • Must be willing and able to submit to and pass a drug screen, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check

  • Prior verifiable experience with all ADL's including changing, dressing, bathing, transferring (at least 1 year, family care included) *preferred

  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

  • Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation to and from work every single day and willing to transport client.

  • Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
