We seek a Registered Nurse (RN) with exceptional skills and empathy to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

 

As an RN, your role will ensure that resident's needs are met by following professional standards of practice and complying with regulations. You will assess, evaluate, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to address patients' emotional, physical, and cognitive requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and documenting resident condition changes.

  • Develop personalized care plans based on residents' needs and objectives.

  • Coordinate care with healthcare team members.

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.

  • Assisted with daily living activities and educated residents and families on healthcare needs.

  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid.

  • Follow all nursing care regulations in the facility.

 

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in California.

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in skilled nursing, acute care, or in-patient rehabilitation settings.

  • Strong clinical skills and communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in using clinical software like Point Click Care (PCC).

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Director Nursing Perioperative Services at St. Mary Medical Center you will be responsible for Surgical service departments including OR, PACU, GI, Short Stay (Pre and Post Op Outpatient Surgery), and SPD. Many surgical specialties are supported, including trauma, cardiac, ortho, bariatrics, urological, gastroenterology, as well as general surgery. You will direct the operations, work with Sr. Leadership on strategy and key initiatives, and work with the Nurse Manager Periop, Nurse Manager GI and Short Stay, Manager SPD, and other front-line leaders to ensure we maintain high standards of patient care in very fast paced environments. You will advise medical staff, other department heads, and administrators in matters related to patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies.
