Companion Caregiver (HHA Training with Reimbursement)

$15 - $17 / HOUR

Companion Caregiver - HHA Training with Reimbursement and Immediate Job Placement

Shift/Schedule: Part time, day shift, between 2-8 hour shifts a day.

Competitive Pay for Companion Caregiver: $17 to $18/hourly (pay based on experience). Once you become a CHHA, the pay rate would increase to $19-20+/hour.

Work with us as a Companion Caregiver while going to school, be a Certified Home Health Aide and get reimbursed for the cost after working with us as a CHHA!

This training aims to enhance your caregiving abilities, improve your understanding of client needs and ensure that you are well-prepared to excel in the field of home health care.

Competitive Pay for Companion Caregiver: $15 - $17/hour(pay based on experience)

As a Companion Caregiver, you will:

  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients

  • Assist with homemaking activities such as laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and changing bed linen

  • Provide companionship for clients including accompanying them on walk, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.

  • Grocery shop and run errands for seniors unable to leave home

Job Requirements of the Companion Caregiver:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Current PPD Test (Single Step PPD) or Chest X-Ray

  • Two verifiable work references

  • Professional appearance and professional attitude

  • You must be reliable, punctual and able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

  • You must be able to read, write and speak English as needed for the job

  • Reliable transportation
