Baptist Medical Center is looking for compassionate Nursing Assistants to join our team. These positions are located on various units at Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL (Downtown) and the surrounding area.

We are looking for Nursing Assistant candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Nursing Assistants (NAs) support RNs in the care of patients and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Patient activities of daily living
Maintaining a safe environment for patients
Collecting lab specimens
Intake and output monitoring
Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Courses Required: Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and current enrollment in nursing school. The following have been grandfathered into the Nursing Assistant role: Foreign nurse, Foreign Physician, and nursing assistants hired prior to April 23, 2015 without a Florida CNA license.
