Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for elderly patients in nursing homes.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York with a specialization in Psychiatry (PMHNP).
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload of patients.
  • Possess strong diagnostic skills and extensive knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Be proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
