Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who embodies our core values to join our team of mental health professionals. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychiatric care to our patients, collaborating with our team of psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff. Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and diagnosis of mental health disorders with the highest level of clinical expertise.
Provide focused and individualized care to each patient, addressing their unique needs and concerns.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the patient and the treatment team.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as needed, ensuring patient safety and compliance.

Collaborate closely with our team of mental health professionals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) for all patient interactions.

Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in psychiatric nursing or physician assistant studies.
Current and active NJ state licensure and certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. As well active DEA licensure.
Experience in providing psychiatric care and managing psychotropic medications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion and empathy in working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Charms EHR experience is a plus.
