Registered Charge Nurse RN

Rates starting at $33/hr.

We are offering a $1,000 Sign-on Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment) for the Registered Charge Nurse RN position.

This is a casual position in Butler, PA with shifts that vary and one weekend per month (Fri-Sat-Sun)  9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.

Licensed personal care community opening in the Fall of 2025 with accommodations for 29 individuals needing more support with activities of daily living. Located near the Benbrook Medical Center Complex in Butler, PA.  Comfortable and home-like environment offering a person-centered approach to care.

The Registered Charge Nurse RN is responsible for the overall care of the residents within the household. Assesses human response and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care. Responsible for all associated and clinical activities, participating in staff and resident scheduling, and assists in the supervision and counseling of Nurse Aides, Resident Coordinators, or Resident Assistants.  Always functions within the limit of the Pennsylvania State Professional Standards Title 49 Chapter.


Qualifications

The Registered Charge Nurse RN requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and possesses a current license, in good standing, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • A graduate nurse who has not yet obtained board results or a Nurse who does not yet have a Pennsylvania license must have a temporary practice permit required by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. 
  • 1 to 2 years of resident care experience preferred; Demonstrated competency in the use of medical equipment;
  • Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
