Casual/Per Diem Status: Department: Emergency Department Work Hours: Casual. A minimum of 32 hours a month must be scheduled with at least 16 hours on the weekend. One holiday per year must be scheduled. This position may work all shifts in 8 & 12 hours shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable. Must have two years of nursing experience and two years of emergency, CCU or Telemetry nursing experience. Certification in these specialty areas.
Department: Psychiatric Unit Work Hours: FT 72, primarily 7p-7a, rotating weekends and holidays Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Previous experience in a psychiatric setting.
Department: Level 1 Medical/Surgical Department Work Hours: Part-Time- 20 hours per week, 40 hours per pay-period. Rotating Days and Evenings. Every other weekend and holidays as required. Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. For a Graduate Nurse this will be under the supervision of an experienced registered nurse. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required and a valid Pennsylvania temporary practice permit for GN. Within six months of hire date, the Graduate Nurse must complete the licensing examination. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred: Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Med/Surg experience. Certification in this specialty area.

Basic Cardiac Life Support. Advanced Cardiac Life Support must obtain within 6-month introductory period. Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within one year of start date. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Emergency Department experience. Certification in ED specialty area.
