Caregiver Salary: $15/hr - $18/hr

Shift Type: All shifts- PT/PRN

Important Shift Details:

  • Day shift: Flexible Hours - short and long shifts! 2-3 hours and longer hours as well!

  • Evening shift: 4/5pm - 10pm

  • Overnight shift: 10pm - 7/8am (occasionally 8pm - 8am)

  • Weekend shifts: Flexible Hours - short and long shifts! 2-3 hours and longer hours as well

  • No live-in positions

Please note, shift times can vary depending on client needs and caregiver availability, so some flexibility is required.

Caregiver Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist with client transfers/movement around the home

  • Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes, etc.)

  • Prepare meals and snacks per instructions

  • Some clients may need to be accompanied on client on errands or medical appointments

  • Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving, and personal care

  • Provide medication reminders

  • Help with prescribed range of motion exercises

  • Engage in companionship activities (reading, music, puzzles, etc.)

Caregiver Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate

  • Pass or must have passed a Level II background screening with AHCA

  • Must be able to lift/move 20 lbs without assistance 

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job

  • Possess a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and registration 

  • CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification

  • CPR Certification- from in-person cpr class

Performs a variety of patient care and administrative support functions under the supervision of a Medical Center Registered Nurse (RN) in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
