Position Summary:
Join our Float Pool team and experience the best of Hospital for Special Care’s diverse nursing environment. As a Float Pool RN, you will earn premium float pay and have the unique opportunity to expand your skills by working across multiple specialty areas; including chronic care, acute care, behavioral health, and pediatrics. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a long-term acute care or rehabilitation setting.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress while ensuring safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication management, and discharge planning.
- Support a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in State of Connecticut.
- Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
- Required: Demonstrated competence in the clinical setting.
