Summary

Qualifications

Qualifications: Eligibility to continue in the position lasts for a maximum of 3 months after high school graduation. Required: Currently pursing a HS Diploma. Completion and passing of STNA NAR (Nurse Aide Registry) class offered through high school program. If under the age of 18, valid work permit. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to read and write in English. Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate well with patients and staff using verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Basic computer skills to document observations electronically.
