We are seeking applicants trained and available to provide care for an individual with a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. This role involves assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and addressing specific care needs.

Care Needs:

Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis:
- Bathing assistance is required. The bathroom setup is not ADA accessible.
- Toileting assistance is needed due to the restroom setup.
Arthritis Diagnosis:
- The individual uses a powerchair to ambulate.
- Assistance with meals is required.

Proposed Schedule:

Start of service: Mid-week (week of 5/4/25).
Estimated hours: 10-12 per week with 3 visits weekly.

- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to ensure a comfortable living environment.
- Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines while handling patient information.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License.
Previous experience in Medication Assistance is preferred.
Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical (drug screening) and background checks.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
