JOB SUMMARY

Hamilton Physician Group (“HPG”) is a multi-subspecialty physician group practice and wholly owned subsidiary of Hamilton Medical Center, Inc., (“HMC”).   HMC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hamilton Healthcare System, Inc. (“HHCS”). HPG was created as a responsive, scalable and adaptable physician enterprise to meet the long-term community need for medical specialties within the Dalton, Georgia and surrounding communities that for various reasons may not be optimally provided for or sustainable by the independent medical staff.  Such medical services may include without limitation, cardiology, convenient care, spine, and others. 

To perform nursing services and set standards to assure professional, skilled program of care and treatment is administered in a physician office setting.  Responsible for accommodating the needs of the physician by controlling patient flow, preparing patients for exams and aiding physician with routine procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing

Licensure: Current LPN License in the State of Georgia, Current CPR Certification



Experience:  1 -2 years in a physician office practice or hospital preferred.



Skills:  Nursing skills as defined in the Law Governing the Practice of Nursing in Georgia.
