In partnership with Northside Hospital, Health Choice offers onsite digital X-ray, EKG, and common laboratory assays.


Our centers are open 7 days per week, 8AM - 8PM.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide complete, compassionate care to all patients
  • Serve as a role model and leader for that day's team
  • Standard office procedures to include, but not limited to, incision and drainage, splinting, suturing, infection management, wound care and more
  • Communicate test results, follow-up care, and other treatment plans as appropriate

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Program
  • Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 2 years experience in a Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
  • Must be licensed by the State of Georgia
  • DOT certification required
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License required

What you will do Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops plans of care, and evaluates effectiveness of interventions, including medication management and crisis intervention services. Maintains thorough documentation in compliance with organization policies and procedures, state guidelines, and best practices, including medication education, seclusion/restraint use, infection control, and risk management. Provides individualized care sensitive to the age and developmental needs of each patient, and participates in on-call schedules and mandatory committees as required. Adheres to established formularies for therapeutic regimens and utilizes established procedures for admission, transfer, and specialty consultant referrals. Assumes responsibility and accountability for individual judgments and actions, while supporting standards of psychiatric care and providing input into committees and meetings as requested. Job requirements include collaborating with physicians attending to complete inpatient rounding, assist with new consults and perform bedside procedures.
