Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs direct patient care through utilization of the nursing process in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act, physician orders, hospital policies and procedures, and established professional standards. The RN is responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, competent care either through direct care or appropriate delegation and for performance improvement and quality initiatives as appropriate. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) - Required
  • (RN) Registered Nursing License with the State of California - Required
  • Associate Degree - Required
  • Chemo/Bio - Oncology – RNs with one or more years of experience, must obtain certification within 6 months of working on the Oncology unit and new graduates must obtain certification immediately following one year of working on the Oncology unit.
  • Infusion – All RNs must have their certification upon hire
