Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Charge Nurse to lead and support our nursing team on our 5MN Intermediate Care Unit in delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our clinical leadership, the Charge Nurse will oversee daily operations, coordinate patient care activities, and serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a collaborative and compassionate care environment.

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care delivery by performing active daily management to oversee quality measures.
  • Communicate with the interdisciplinary team by serving as a liaison between nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient flow, staffing levels, and resource allocation to ensure timely throughput.
  • Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to nursing team members.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new staff.
  • Respond to emergencies and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Salary Range: $70.41 - $102.30 hourly
