Responsibilities:

  • Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support.
  • Daily Assistance: Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
  • Outings and Appointments: Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed.
  • Safety and Comfort: Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Requirements:

  • Compassionate Nature: Demonstrate empathy and care in all interactions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs.
  • Background: Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliability: Must be trustworthy, patient, and dependable.
  • Education/Skills: Basic nutrition knowledge for meal planning is beneficial.
  • Credentials: First Aid certification and TB test (optional), with in-services.
  • Background Check: Required.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of performing caregiving duties.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation required.
