Aspire Senior Living of Platte City is a leading long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and a supportive environment for our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team and contribute to the health and well-being of our residents.

Position Summary:
The CMT is responsible for the safe administration of medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role requires attentiveness, precision, and the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by a licensed nurse.
  • Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.
  • Observe residents for side effects and report any adverse reactions to the nursing team.
  • Assist with daily living activities as needed, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
  • Promote a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in Missouri .
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

How you make a difference The Certified Medication Technician is responsible for administering prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse.
