Urgent Care Center –APN/PA

Responsibilities will include:

Providing medical services, including initial follow-up assessments and evaluations
Prescribing protocol medications/management modalities
Ordering follow-up services

Summary of Position: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Clinics provides direct patient care within state and scope of practice guidelines at assigned Barton HealthCare System outpatient clinic facilities. Qualifications Education: ● Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nurse Practice (DNP). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: ● Computer literacy in common office applications ● Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) database or equivalent required; Epic experience preferred ● Excellent communication and customer service skills, flexible, and strong sense of teamwork. ● Ability to effectively communicate in English, in compliance with patient safety standards. Bilingual abilities preferred.
