Qualifications

Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Our Infusion team operates out of the Bloomington Hospital and is an all-around infusion center. The nurses on our team will handle various infusions, including chemotherapy, antibiotics, fluid replacement, iron infusion and phlebotomy. We do not require a certification for hire; however, a Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification will begin shortly after hire. The patient population and diagnoses in this unit vary, reflecting the diverse nature of radiology services. Shift requirements: M-F 630a-4p. Closed weekends and holidays with on-call requirement. Call is roughly 1 evening per week, one weekend per month, and 2 holidays per year. Must live within 45-minute response time of the hospital.
