  • Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta is a 30-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including cardiology, emergency, women’s services, cardiology, general surgery, rehabilitation, withdrawal stabilization and surgery.

Responsibilities

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. He/she is also responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care of critically ill patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma.
  • BLS required upon hire and must maintain.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred upon hire, if not must obtain within 6 months of hire.

The Registered Nurse (RN) must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. The RN is to plan for the provision of patient care including the development modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with BMC standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
