Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating)
  • Provide mobility support, including transferring residents safely using gait belts or mechanical lifts
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
  • Document care provided using electronic health records (EHR) or paper charts as required
  • Follow infection control protocols and facility policies

Qualifications

  • Current CNA certification in the state of TN
  • High school diploma or GED
  • CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Previous experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting is a plus, but not required

Shift Availability

  • Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts available
  • 12 hour shifts
  • Weekend and holiday rotation required
  • Flexible scheduling options
