We are seeking a RN - Emergency for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary: The Emergency Staff Nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation. The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s). He/she monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response. Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care. The RN staff nurse may be called upon to act as the charge nurse for their department at the discretion of their Director and/or House supervisor.
