Position Overview:

The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides advanced clinical care to hospitalized patients under the supervision of or in collaboration with a physician hospitalist. The NP manages patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring continuity and quality of care throughout the hospital stay.

Education Qualifications:

  • Required: · Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Certification Qualifications:

  • Required: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
  • Required: Valid state license and DEA registration
  • Required: National board certification as an Acute Care NP (ACNP), Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP), or Family NP (FNP)
  • Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross ACLS)
