  • Maintain accurate patient recordsĀ 
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism via all communication methods, including: phone, video, email, slack, text, and patient portal messagesĀ 
  • Complete prior authorizationsĀ 
  • Perform clinical administrative functions within scope of certificationĀ 
  • Following provider instructions, demonstrates accurate, timely, and efficient follow through with pharmacy refills, obtaining, reporting and tracking of lab results, medical records, leaving phone messages, and responding to patient messagesĀ 
  • Remain in compliance with HIPAA, and protect all patient health information (PHI) in accordance with Federal and state regulation

What you will need to succeed: 🌱

  • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) required
  • 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant - huge plus if you have telehealth and/or remote work experience!Ā 
  • 2+ years of Athenahealth outpatient EMR experience (strongly preferred), 5+ years of overall EMR experienceĀ 

Work Hours: We have 2 roles available - 1 Role requires a Monday through Friday schedule with a 9AM PST start time. 2nd Role requires a Monday through Friday schedule with a 7AM PST start time.40 hour work week guaranteed; daily 30min unpaid lunchĀ
