Baptist Health is currently seeking a Cytotechnologist to join our team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville! This is a PRN, Evening shift with availability to work from 3pm - 6pm or 4pm - 7pm Monday - Friday.

This Cytotechnologist must have specimen processing experience as well as some Microscopic Interpretation experience. This candidate must also have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited CAAHEA approved program. This Cytotechnologist must be licensed in the State of Florida before hire.

As a Cytotechnologist, your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining expertise in collection, processing, staining and microscope interpretation of cytologic specimens.
Performing computer, clerical, safety and quality improvement functions as defined in the laboratory general and section specific policy and procedure manuals.
Intstructing new employees, Cytotechnologists and Cytopreparatory technicians.
