Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Veterans Engineering is seeking experienced ER/Trauma Registered Nurses for multiple night shifts at a Level I Trauma Center. Candidates must have prior Level I Trauma experience and be proficient in Cerner EMR systems. This role involves providing care to high-acuity patients, including trauma, burns, and critical care emergencies Responsibilities Shift: Nights | 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts) Unit: Surgical ICU – Trauma Neuro Surgery (32 beds) Additional Units: Medical ICU (36 beds) + 12-bed Overflow ICU Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:1 Scheduling: Self-scheduling; weekends required (minimum every other weekend) Experience in Neuro or Cardiovascular ICU Bachelor's of Science in Nursing 3 years of recent ICU experience Must have trauma, neuro, or specialty device skills Required Testing: UNA Dysrhythmia Exam (must pass within 24–48 hours prior to acceptance; max 2 attempts) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA preferred) Preferred Experience in Neuro or Cardiovascular ICU Travel Requirement Travel to client locations is required for this position and may vary based on project needs. Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Veterans Engineering is seeking experienced ER/Trauma Registered Nurses for multiple night shifts at a Level I Trauma Center. Candidates must have prior Level I Trauma experience and be proficient in Cerner EMR systems. This role involves providing care to high-acuity patients, including trauma, burns, and critical care emergencies Responsibilities Provide patient care in ER/Trauma units across 4 facilities: St. Joseph’s Main, St. Joseph’s Westgate, and 2 Free-Standing ERs (Litchfield Park & Glendale) Float between facilities as needed (midshift floats possible) Interpret telemetry and monitor patient conditions using Phillips monitors Collaborate with charge nurses, hospitalists, and midlevels Participate in educational and competency assessments, including lifts, restraints, and wound care Minimum 2 years of ER experience Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Must be within 50 miles of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center Travel Requirement Travel to client locations is required for this position and may vary based on project needs.
