RESPONSIBILITIES I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Performs clinical diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including general imaging studies, cardiac studies and therapeutic radionuclide administrations. • Performs the computer processing associated with diagnostic examinations. II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Essential: standing, sitting, walking, stooping/bending, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting/carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 30 pounds, patient movement: pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds; lifting: horizontal lift/carry up to 50 pounds, and repetitive arm and wrist movement consistent with computer/mouse usage. • Occasional: kneeling, squatting, twisting body, reaching above, at, and below shoulder, repetitive arm/hand motions. • Operates computer, gamma cameras, radiation detectors. III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: • Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. • Exposure to radioactive materials and radiation. • Must be able to adjust schedule for “on-call” coverage involving, but not limited to, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: • Current Hawaii State license as a Nuclear Medical Technologist. • Current BLS/HCP certification. B.
