POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for overall care of assigned residents and supervision of direct care staff in the community.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current, valid RN license. Strong clinical assessment skills MDS skills preferred. POSITION DUTIES: Manage nursing staff operations routinely. Help implement and evaluate care plans for individual care of each resident. Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices. Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders in a timely manner. Reports required condition changes, events to appropriate parties. Administers medication/treatments as prescribed. Monitors infection control compliance. Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.

The Cottage is currently looking for evening shift C.N.A's who have a passion for great patient care, and a desire to work as a team. Job Summary: As a Certified Nurssing Assistant, you must be able to provide exceptional care to our residents as established in the management's policies and procedures. The C.N.A must possess comprehensive knowledge of good residents care practices. Duties of a C.N.A include: Works with residents to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and quality of life C.N.A's provide, complete, and document resident care as assigned in a timely and accurate manner. C.N.A's attend and participates in facility in-service programs. Practices good infection control techniques in all aspects of resident care. Reports any change of condition to charge nurse. Responds timely to resident requests, including call light response. Observes residents rights including privacy, dignity, and others when providing care to residents. Communicates effectively with residents, families, other staff members, and management. Assists residents for social functions and meals in a timely manner as assigned or as indicated on plan of care. Other duties as needed by residents. Qualifications: Must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations for Certified Nurse Assistant. Physical Requirements: C.N.A's need to be in good physical and mental health. Physical activities may include lifting up to fifty pounds, rotating and assisting residents who are partially or totally dependent.
