JOB SUMMARY: This position provides health assessment related to acute and chronic illness, first aid, mental health, medication management, and health education for students. This position provides emergency assessment, triage, and treatment as first responder for staff and students, while coordinating care through Emergency Medical Services and school administration. This position is also responsible for health screenings, counseling referral, and follow-up services to students in assigned schools. This position also entails providing information and assistance to faculty and administration in health-related matters pertaining to students and the community. This position also entails providing instruction, information and assistance to faculty and administration in health-related matters.
