Hiring LPN for patient care in a busy primary care office.

Summary of Duties:

Responsible for all aspects of clinical care of patients in an ambulatory, primary care office setting. Assists the providers in the treatment of patients of the practice. Pre Visit planning such as daily huddle with providers, preparing charts(on EMR), paperwork, test results, rooming, creating lab requisitions, calling patients with results, etc. Daily patient contact with exposures typical of a clinical environment. Job requires the ability to stand and walk for a large portion of the day.

Schedule would be: Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation. Hours would be 8:30a-5p with potential of 8a-4:30p.

Skills:

Requires knowledge of individual’s professional scope of license as well as medical office experience. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of patients, Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations, as well as the ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. The ability to prioritize, be proactive and expedite patient flow is required.

Must be a team player, be respectful of other coworkers, have a positive attitude, and be able to move from one task to another fluidly and with ease, willing to pitch in and help all providers and all other clinical staff.

Experience:

Willing to consider all candidates, experience in an office-based setting is preferred.

Education:

LPN: Graduation from a licensed LPN program with current NYS License.

Salary: From $23.00 per hour
