As a full-time Inpatient Nurse Tech, you will work 7p-7a, with 1 8-hour shift/month on a Saturday as the only weekend requirement. The Nurse Technician holds a safety sensitive position and is a competent paraprofessional which assists the registered nurses by assuming responsibility and accountability for direct and indirect patient care. He/she may assist with activities, personal care, comfort measures, maintenance of a safe and clean environment, and certain test/procedures done to a specific patient population (dependent on area) under the direction and supervision of a RN.
