About the Role As an Emergency Department Nurse, you'll provide expert, high-quality care in fast-paced, high-stakes situations. Your role will be critical in stabilizing patients, managing acute injuries and illnesses, and ensuring optimal outcomes through skilled interventions and teamwork. Your Key Responsibilities Rapidly triage and assess patients of all ages. Administer treatments and assist in emergency procedures. Monitor vital signs and deliver patient education. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for seamless care. Respond to medical and behavioral health emergencies. Maintain infection control protocols and document care accurately. Prepare patients for transfers and manage critical care needs. Qualifications Required: Current RN License (WA State). Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPR/BLS, TNCC (within 6 months), NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days). Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: BSN or MSN.
