Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care. The RN staff nurse may be called upon to act as the charge nurse for their department at the discretion of their Director and/or House supervisor. The RN Charge nurse makes patient care assignments based on patient care needs. In addition during high census times the RN Staff nurse maybe called upon to float to other departments to take patients. Cross training will be provided by Mesa View Regional Hospital as needed to meet the needs of the hospital and the patients. All other duties as assigned within the scope of Nursing practices. Qualifications: Associates Degree required. BSN preferred. Two (2) years of recent Emergency Room Nursing experience preferred. Current Nevada RN licensure required. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required. CPI due within six (6) months of hire date. **Pay range: $37.80 - $47.25 (depending on experience)**

RN - Case Manager JOB SUMMARY: The Case Manager is a health care professional who assesses medical necessity and appropriateness of admissions to the hospital and placement of patients while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and providing quality, cost efficient patient care. This individual will also provide patients and families discharge planning in a collaborative process which assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors and evaluates the options and services required to meet the needs of each patient. This will include alternate levels of care, ie. home care, skilled, long term care, using available community resources to promote quality, cost effective outcomes. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate from an approved Associate Degree; BSN or Master's program in Nursing Preferred but not required. Prior experience as a Case Manager preferred, three (3) to five (5) years of nursing experience preferred. Current license as a registered nurse in the state of Nevada. All other duties as assigned. **Pay range: $41.24 - $51.55 (depending on experience)**

Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Coordinates and provides care for persons with bowel and urinary diversions, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure and vascular ulcers and incontinence. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. All other duties as assigned within the scope of nursing practices. Requires associate's degree and NV RN license.
