The PACU Staff Nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation. The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s). He/she monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response. Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Associates Degree required. BSN preferred. Two (2) years of previous PACU Nursing experience preferred. Current RN licensure in the state of Nevada. Current BLS required. PALS, ACLS required. **All Certifications must be held through AHA or ARC.** **Hourly Rate DOE: $37.80 - $47.25**
RN - Case Manager JOB SUMMARY: The Case Manager is a health care professional who assesses medical necessity and appropriateness of admissions to the hospital and placement of patients while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and providing quality, cost efficient patient care. This individual will also provide patients and families discharge planning in a collaborative process which assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors and evaluates the options and services required to meet the needs of each patient. This will include alternate levels of care, ie. home care, skilled, long term care, using available community resources to promote quality, cost effective outcomes. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate from an approved Associate Degree; BSN or Master's program in Nursing Preferred but not required. Prior experience as a Case Manager preferred, three (3) to five (5) years of nursing experience preferred. Current license as a registered nurse in the state of Nevada. All other duties as assigned. **Pay range: $41.24 - $51.55 (depending on experience)**
