Job Opportunity: LPN Charge Nurse Starting Pay: Competitive rates up to $37 per hour, based on experience Differentials Offered: Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours Available Shifts: 32 hours 7am-3pm shift Per Diem Responsibilities : The LPN Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing nursing services for assigned residents. This includes adhering to quality care standards, facility policies, legal requirements, medical practices, and physician instructions. Key Duties: Efficiently plans and provides professional care while aligning with the needs of residents and the changing medical landscape. Maintains professionalism in interactions with residents, physicians, families, peers, and support staff. Documents crucial information related to resident care accurately and comprehensively. Administers prescribed medications and oversees accurate record-keeping in line with facility policies. Requirements: Valid state nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a registered nurse). C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Qualifications: Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing. No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry. Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions. Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
