This position directs patient care for licensed and ancillary staff. The Registered Nurse Team Lead has 2+ years of relevant experience. Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities: Guides, educates, and provides leadership for all new and experienced staff. Assists with and provides input for performance appraisals, disciplinary action, reports, audits, surveys, and documentation in medical records, employee records, and computers. Ensures coverage and staff levels for all responsible units. Coordinates the department-specific orientation and training for employees, which may include, but is not limited to, initial unit-based, job-specific competencies, CBLs, clinic-specific testing, assisting with preceptors/mentors training and assignments, conducting annual needs assessments, and documenting and maintaining educational requirements for clinic staff.
