RN - Invasive Labs - Interventional Radiology (req 1 year of Critical Care exp)

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, directs, implements, and assists to provide quality patient care for assigned patients. Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities: Plans, assesses, directs, implements and provides quality patient care for assigned patients to include modifying nursing care, medication administration and discharge planning. Provides education directed towards individualized patient needs utilizing the nursing process in coordination with policies and procedures. Monitors changes in patient condition to include recording and reporting symptoms, assessing vital signs and intervening when appropriate. Performs complete data collection from patient presenting complaints and pertinent history. Collaborates with patients to identify treatment plan goals, and discharges patients as appropriate with a written discharge plan. Encourages family participation as appropriate for age and situation. Delivers nursing care to patients including assessment and planning of education directed towards identified knowledge deficits, treatment, pain management, and discharge utilizing the nursing process. Documents accurately in medical records, on forms, and in the computer entering appropriate orders, patient charges, and or other information, meeting standards, policy, and procedures. Delivers quality care by using multi-disciplinary team strategies and minimizing the risk of infection, harm, or injury. Maintains accurate detailed reports and records and directs care with regard to age and developmental stage, presenting complaint, and pertinent history. Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with physicians, departments, staff, patients, and visitors. Anticipates deteriorating life sign patterns or equipment malfunctions and takes appropriate action. Modifies patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions. Collaborates with patient care team members on patient care plan, incorporating consistent use of hand-off communication. Conducts and coordinates patient care and patient transfers in accordance with EMTALA regulations, as applicable. Job Summary: The Registered Nurse Team Lead assesses, plans, directs, implements, and provides quality patient care for assigned patients including education directed toward individualized patient needs utilizing the nursing process in coordination with policies and procedures. This position directs patient care for licensed and ancillary staff. The Registered Nurse Team Lead has 2+ years of relevant experience. Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities: Guides, educates, and provides leadership for all new and experienced staff. Assists with and provides input for performance appraisals, disciplinary action, reports, audits, surveys, and documentation in medical records, employee records, and computers. Ensures coverage and staff levels for all responsible units. Coordinates the department-specific orientation and training for employees, which may include, but is not limited to, initial unit-based, job-specific competencies, CBLs, clinic-specific testing, assisting with preceptors/mentors training and assignments, conducting annual needs assessments, and documenting and maintaining educational requirements for clinic staff.
