Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Monitor vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed. Provide emotional support to patients and families. Educate patients and families about health care maintenance. Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse. Assist with geriatric care needs. Communicate with MD and outside providers regarding care. Qualifications: Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the state Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions. Can foster good resident and family relationships. Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment. A passion for working with elderly residents.
