Job Summary Claremont Unified School District is accepting applications for a District School Nurse. Under the direction of the district administrator(s), the District School Nurse provides leadership and coordination for school health services across all district sites. This role supports student health and academic success by managing health programs, developing individualized health care plans, overseeing medication administration and emergency care protocols, ensuring compliance with state health regulations, and serving as a resource to site nurses, staff, and families. Requirements / Qualifications Must possess a valid bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university and a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California. CA School Nurse Credential (within 5 years of hire, emergency credential accepted), Audiometry Certification (within 6 months of hire), Current CA Driver’s License, Current CPR Certificate. The individual selected must obtain a Professional Clear School Nurse Credential within 5 years of employment. School Nurse Services Credential Comments and Other Information Preferred Qualifications: School Nurse experience. Pediatric Nursing experience.
