Director of Nursing (DON)

Castle Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is looking for a strong, dedicated, and hard-working DON who can support our nursing staff! The Director of Nursing (DON) plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Manage and allocate nursing resources, including staffing, budgeting, and equipment procurement. Collaborate with other healthcare leaders to drive organizational goals and foster a culture of teamwork and excellence. Clinical Oversight: Ensure that nursing staff deliver high-quality care and adhere to established standards and guidelines. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and nursing performance, making necessary improvements. Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. Stay updated on advances in nursing practice and technology to facilitate evidence-based care. Staff Development: Train and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure a competent and motivated nursing team. Promote ongoing education and certification for nursing staff to maintain and enhance skills. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements. Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections and surveys, addressing any deficiencies promptly. Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet legal and regulatory obligations. Patient Advocacy and Communication: Serve as an advocate for patients, addressing their needs and concerns. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information and support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and transitions. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Castle Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is searching for the right Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. We have 2p-10p available. CNA's will be offered a $3,000 sign on bonus, which will be paid out in three increments - after three months, six months, and a year Our facilities deliver outstanding care as well as foster strong employee bonds. The primary purpose of the CNA is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results. CNA responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials. Transporting patients. Answering patients' call lights and requests. Reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. CNA Requirements: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in state employed. Experience with geriatric patients is a plus! Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required. Completion of orientation required by company policy. Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment. Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire. Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check. Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job. Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
