Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Manage and allocate nursing resources, including staffing, budgeting, and equipment procurement. Collaborate with other healthcare leaders to drive organizational goals and foster a culture of teamwork and excellence. Clinical Oversight: Ensure that nursing staff deliver high-quality care and adhere to established standards and guidelines. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and nursing performance, making necessary improvements. Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction. Stay updated on advances in nursing practice and technology to facilitate evidence-based care. Staff Development: Train and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure a competent and motivated nursing team. Promote ongoing education and certification for nursing staff to maintain and enhance skills. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements. Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections and surveys, addressing any deficiencies promptly. Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet legal and regulatory obligations. Patient Advocacy and Communication: Serve as an advocate for patients, addressing their needs and concerns. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing information and support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and transitions. CNA responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials. Transporting patients. Answering patients' call lights and requests. Reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. CNA Requirements: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in state employed. Experience with geriatric patients is a plus! Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required. Completion of orientation required by company policy. Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment. Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire. Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check. Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job. Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
