We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Wound Care to help lead our efforts in wound management and infection prevention. This is a key clinical position focused on improving resident outcomes and maintaining a safe, healthy environment for both residents and staff. Position Summary: The Wound Care Nurse is responsible for assessing, managing, and monitoring resident wounds, as well as leading the facility’s infection prevention and control program. This dual role involves hands- on clinical care, staff education, policy development, and regulatory compliance. Wound Care Duties: Perform comprehensive skin and wound assessments. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care plans. Administer wound treatments and monitor healing progress. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Collaborate with physicians and the care team to adjust treatment as needed. Qualifications: Current RN or LPN license in the state of Missouri (RN preferred) .
