Description Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to work in our Wound Care department, supporting both outpatient and inpatient services. The APRN will work on prevention and treatment of pressure injuries (PI), management of complex wounds (medical, surgical, podiatric), inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up, and education and prevention strategies. Qualifications Required: Master’s degree from an accredited school/college of nursing Acute care certification required for APRNs (inpatient experience as an NP will be considered in lieu of acute care certification) Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
