About Us We are a busy and supportive Outpatient Mental Health facility seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. Position Summary The Medical Assistant will support our psychiatric providers by performing clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. This is a full-time position with no evening or weekend hours. Responsibilities Chart in the EMR system (computer experience required) Verify patient information by interviewing patients and documenting: Medical history Current and past medications Family and social history Allergies Reason for visit Prepare patients for examination, including taking preliminary vitals Ensure all reports, labs, and documents are available prior to patient appointments Triage and process messages between patients, front office staff, psychiatrists, and CRNPs Provide feedback and assistance for patient, provider, and pharmacy calls Process medication prior authorizations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to multitask effectively Strong EMR experience (eClinicalworks a plus) Passion for patient care and customer service Flexible team player with excellent communication skills Schedule Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM No evenings or weekends If you are compassionate, organized, and eager to support mental health care in a meaningful way, we encourage you to apply! High school diploma or GED Minimum of 1 yr. of Medical Assistant or equivalent experience Experience with electronic medical records MA certification or other medical certification/license (ex.
