The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of State-Operated Specialty Care, Bureau of Cherokee Mental Health Institute (CMHI) is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This is a part-time opportunity with a 28 hours/week schedule, a possible shift differential of $0.90 per hour for second shift and $1.00 per hour for third shift, plus strong opportunity for growth and development. At CMHI, our team of RNs provides active inpatient treatment to adults in need of acute psychiatric care. While utilizing the Nursing process to provide that care, the RN in this position will also direct services provided by Licensed Practical Nurses, Resident Treatment Technicians, and Resident Treatment Workers. This is a temporary appointment limited to 780 hours per fiscal year with variable scheduling. This position provides security and general nursing care to a specific high-risk population.
