Complete reports and audits timely: 802/672 (matrix and census and condition); Infection Control Log; Oxygen Log; Psychotropic Medication Log, Hospital Transfer Log, etc. Ensure all resident Event Reports are completed timely and signed by the Medical Director and log if necessary. Ensure quarterly assessments/recaps and other Charge Nurse assignments are completed timely. Review resident Hydration Book/Weight Book; ensure areas are complete and the physicians are notified when necessary. Review MARs/TARs and CNA books monthly for errors, blanks, etc. and address any discrepancies. Update Nursing schedules as necessary. Assistant in educating/disciplining Nursing personnel when necessary. Review Narcotic Shift to Shift books and Narcotic Reconciliation sheets for blanks and address as necessary.
