Supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and provide clinical guidance as needed. Participate in staff hiring, training, evaluations, and disciplinary processes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies. Participate in care planning, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs in accordance with CDC, OSHA, and state/local health department guidelines. Conduct routine infection surveillance and audits; track, analyze, and report trends. Provide staff training on infection prevention protocols, standard precautions, PPE usage, and outbreak management. Investigate and document infection outbreaks and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with medical staff, housekeeping, dietary, and other departments to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
