Parkville Care Center is looking for a temporary Assistant Director of Nursing. The right candidate has the potential to continue working with iCare in another role. Responsibilities: Assists in the management of all levels of nursing staff to ensure accountability to all standards of nursing practice, quality care, and treatments. Takes a lead role in regular facility rounds and monitoring of resident status. Maintains awareness of all resident clinical care issues. Acts as a leader in observing and instructing clinical staff with resident care. Assists the Director of Nursing (DNS) in the overall training of nursing staff to support clinical services and to meet and exceed established clinical competency levels. Provides daily oversight of the RN Supervisors, Charge Nurses, and CNAs. Qualifications: Active RN license in the State of Connecticut, required. Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Improvement processes, required. Bachelors or Associate degree in a health care related field, preferred. Experience in a supervisory position in long-term care, preferred.
