Weekend Wound Care Nurse (LVN) Job Summary Golden Modesto Care Center in Modesto, California is seeking a Weekend Wound Care Nurse (LVN) responsible for managing wound care among residents and other duties assigned. Essential Functions: Assesses and treats residents' wound care needs Supervises nursing care to residents Complies with state and Federal Regulations Works Collaboratively with members of the healthcare team Maintains standards of professional nursing practice. Provides back-up to Director of Nursing when needed. Reviews assignments with Director of Nursing and Administrator. Observes changes in resident status, needs or preferences, and communicates them appropriately to the Director of Nursing and/or Resident Care Manager. Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency procedures. Validates that the Nursing Department continues to develop and maintain high standards for excellence. Essential Functions: Develops and maintains a nursing service philosophy, objectives, standards of practice, policy and process manuals.
