Identify and investigate potential transmission risks and exposure risks, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control best practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and infection control measures. Develop and maintain accurate records and reports related to infection prevention and control activities, including but not limited to incident reports, surveillance data, and educational materials. Collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate and improve patient care practices to minimize the risk of infection. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize infection prevention and control practices and promote efficient use of resources.
