In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing unit, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Address inquiries and concerns from residents and their families promptly and professionally. Review Resident records & quality of care Maintain the standards of care for the unit Supervise nursing staff and manage unit operations. Conduct case reviews and ensure individualized care plans are followed. Ensure the unit is adequately stocked with necessary medical supplies. Advocate for the unit's interests to upper management. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: A valid RN License is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care. At least 1 year of experience in a Unit Manager role. Strong computer skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. RN Duties Include: As a Registered Nurse (RN) supervisor, complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff. Measure and record residents' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration as needed upon assessment. Care Plan development and modification Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff. Administer high-quality nursing care to residents. Develop and implement resident treatment and care plans. Monitor and report any changes in resident symptoms or behaviors.
